"Touch the Body, Calm the mind, heal the spirit!"
"Healing touch is deep in my roots. I am grateful to say I have been exposed to the power of massage and bodywork my entire life. My grandmother has practiced massage therapy since I was a baby and taught me how to help heal the body and mind through massage. While studying at The Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork in Kauai, I learned the importance of postural alignment, injury therapy, pain relief therapy, and other modalities such as sports massage and Swedish relaxation massage. I also traveled to Thailand and Laos to study the art of Thai yoga massage. I bring together compassion and knowledge with a variety of modalities to rejuvenate and bring balance and comfort in the body. "
My goal is to help you reclaim your health and well-being with personalized therapies that nurture and restore your body and mind. With knowledge and compassion, I strive to offer you everything from restorative relaxation massage to the treatment and rehabilitation of injuries. Leave feeling rejuvenated and more easeful in your body and a better overall quality of life. With more comfort in your body, more energy, and a healthy nervous system, you can be a better partner, friend, parent, and have more enthusiasm for your hobbies and life!
Donna was born in Missouri and grew up with three brothers in Ohio. She has always known she wanted to help people, but didn't know exactly what that would look like. She went to college at the University of Dayton, studying psychology and women's studies, thinking that is how she could positively impact the lives of others. As it didn't feel like the perfect fit, she began traveling the world, looking for her calling. She lived in Alaska as a photographer and tour bus driver, worked on a variety of farms throughout Australia, spent time learning Spanish and living in Peru, and scuba diving in Honduras, studying massage in Hawaii, and eventually bodywork guiding her to Thailand, Laos, and Nepal. Her adventuresome spirit continued to take her around the world, but she continued to return to the Vail Valley, finally feeling like it was the closest thing she had to home. She now is feeling the calling to be more settled and really focus more on helping the locals and visitors of Vail through her passion and gift, bodywork.
