Meet Donna

Donna Tolley, LMT, Owner of Deep Roots Therapeutic Massage

Healing touch is deep in my roots. I am grateful to say I have been exposed to the power of massage and bodywork my entire life. My grandmother finished massage school the year I was born and has taught me how to help ease tension in the body and mind through intentional touch. As the owner of this massage studio, this is where the name “Deep Roots” came from. While studying at The Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork in Kauai, I learned the importance of postural alignment and other modalities including deep tissue, sports massage and Swedish relaxation massage. I have also been trained in cupping therapy which has numerous benefits from releasing tension, detoxification and increasing mobility. I traveled to Thailand and Laos in 2014 to study the art of Thai yoga massage. I bring together intuition, compassion and knowledge with a variety of modalities to rejuvenate and bring balance and comfort in the body.

Meet Lydia

I see massage as coming home to your body and its deep wisdom. After a profound journey of self-discovery in Baja, Mexico, during a yoga teacher training, I knew I had found my calling working with the body. Growing up in West Africa, I battled with mental and physical health challenges, consistently seeking relief. It wasn't until embracing a cleansing diet and incorporating movement into my life that I truly connected with my body's intuitive capacity for healing. This awakening led me to pursue a career as a massage therapist, where I have had the privilege of assisting over 13,000 clients on their healing paths. With over 14 years of experience and 3000+ hours of education as a therapist and massage instructor, I have honed my skills in cranial sacral therapy, neuromuscular techniques, deep tissue, Thai/sports stretching, trauma-informed breathwork, and intuitive touch. Seamlessly blending these modalities allows your unique needs to be met with the utmost care. Together, we will create a safe and nurturing environment that encourages deep healing and relaxation, allowing your body's innate healing abilities to flourish. Witness the amazing language of touch as it gently brings you home to yourself, and let me guide you to a place where your mind and body find true harmony. Come as you are, leave refreshed.

Meet Jasmine

I love helping facilitate health and wellness in myself and others.  The human body is incredible in all that it is capable of and in all of the intricacies of its day to day functioning.  Learning about the body is a lifelong process and I love sharing what I know through healing touch.  I am a graduate of Higher Elevation Healing Arts in Gypsum with training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Hot Stone and Cupping therapies.  I have lived in the Vail Valley since December 2017.

Outside of the massage world I have worn many different hats… I have a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.  Since graduating from college I have gone to massage school, been a raft guide, ski instructor, tutor, substitute teacher, wrangler and yoga teacher. I love to do just about anything active and outside… acroyoga, climbing, backpacking, rafting, mountain biking, slacklining, horseback riding… All of these things have led me to deepen my appreciation of the healing effects of bodywork.  Excited to meet you and help you on your health journey!

Meet Brigitte

My original healing journey started with my love for the medicinal powers of food. After earning my bachelors degree in nutrition, I quickly realized how sacred touch can be. The artistic quality of massage is truly my passion. Working and creating with my hands has healed me in ways I didn’t realize I needed; taking time to connect, slow down and breathe.

I grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and made my way to Colorado in 2013. I immediately enrolled in the Colorado School of Healing Arts and following graduation, traveled to northern Thailand to study the ancient practice of Thai massage. I have been growing and continuing to expand my practice in the Vail Valley for 6 years. My strengths in the practice are deep tissue, sports recovery, dynamic stretching, Thai/ashiastu, qued breathing and compassionate touch. From start to finish I want my client to feel that they are in the safest hands and they are going to leave feeling better than they’ve ever felt.

Meet Molly

I’ve grown my roots as a massage therapist here in Vail after graduating from Higher Elevation Healing Arts School in 2017 where I learned deep tissue, Swedish, hot stone, prenatal, and sports massage as well as the more subtle yet potent practices of Reiki and Cranio Sacral Therapy. I love the blending of art and science that massage therapy lends to and the deep healing that can be experienced as layers of tension in the body and mind are released and melt away. In addition to loving massage therapy, I also love being creative and making art! In the studio are some items for sale such as planters and some jewelry made from bike chains.
